So, I'm really doing this...traveling in an RV up the Pacific Coast. Well, not right this moment. Right now I'm kinda panicking because I have lots to do to prepare for this trip. Breathe...write lists...quit job...oh yeah...April 1, 2014! My first day of freedom. Okay, some call me crazy for giving up a good paycheck, health insurance, 401k...all the stuff that create security. I get it, I really do. But I'm not all that hung up on security. Obviously.
On April 11, I'll be loading my camera, bicycle, hiking boots, pens and journals, paints and canvases into a C19 RV and heading west from Denver to the Pacific Coast. I'll be on the road for 28 days. When I can connect, I'll write about my adventure. If you don't see new posts for a few days, I am probably sitting on a cliff over looking the Pacific watching the Gray whales swim by...stunned by the beauty of this place. Or my bicycle had a flat and I'm trudging 20 miles on foot cause I couldn't change the dang thing. Or I got drunk with the locals and am nursing a whopping hangover. Shit will happen. It's all part of the journey.
I have heard a lot of people tell me they are so jealous, they want to go too. I guess I would be jealous of me too, if I wasn't me.
Peace, love and recycle,
Watson
